Constitutional Carry States 2024 Florida. With this amendment to florida statute 790.01, florida has become the 26th state to allow permitless carry. As of 2024, there are 29 states with constitutional carry, the 29th being louisiana, where cc goes into effect on july 4, 2024.

Prohibits carrying of concealed handgun or unconcealed firearm without license & possession of such handgun or firearm. Right now, florida is one of four states that don’t allow any open carry.
